It started with a farmer in West Kerry, tears running down his face. “He told me his sheep had been chased off the cliffs. Broken legs. Lambs gone,” says John Joe Fitzgerald, Vice President of the Irish Natura and Hill Farmers Association (INHFA). “That moment really affected me.”
Ten years later, John Joe, the INHFA and other farmer organisations are campaigning for urgent action on the escalating crisis of dog attacks on livestock.
